Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our iTalk team.  The Programmer Analyst will report to the Operations Manager.  This position will be working in a small team but within a large department focusing on C# programming for one of the complementary products supported by JHA.  Candidates will be focused on IVR applications that integrate with Jack Henry’s core systems, mainly focused on customer support and maintenance programming such as bug fixes and troubleshooting but with some customization and new development as required.

Analysts will be expected to work in a dynamic multi-functional group.  Success in this role will require you to have a strong programming background, preferably within the C# programming language, excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills, willingness to learn, and strong soft skills to lead projects and work within our team and customers.  You must be able to lead projects that involve existing software enhancements and projects that work production defects from our client base.  Jack Henry offers work/life balance, competitive benefits and career advancement!

This position will be filled to work Remotely within the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Implement newly created code and fixes into existing software.
  • Provides programming support for various interfaces such as bug fixes and troubleshooting.
  • Completes project bids, as necessary.
  • Works on internal special projects.
  • Assist in maintenance of test and production hosted environments with upgrades and patching.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • 18 months of SQL experience. 
  • 18 months of programming experience using C#.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Knowledge of Angular (typescript).
  • Basic understanding of network design.
  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Windows PowerShell.
  • Framework.
