Description & Requirements

Symitar, a Jack Henry & Associates brand, is currently looking for a Strategic Project Manager to join our Episys PowerFrame Implementation and Support Team. The Strategic Project Manager manages the migration of all clients to new technology. Adoption of new technology requires the management of cross-organizational resources and Episys clients to install new technologies and identify and resolve issues. The project manager reports progress and results to stakeholders.

This role is available in the San Diego, CA office or worked Remotely within the US. 


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management or project implementation.
  • Experience in the financial or information technology fields.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%. 


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Project Management software.
  • General knowledge of JHA product(s) and services.  
  • General knowledge of software development/IT practices and procedures.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Able to interact with internal, client and external personnel.


  • Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
  • Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills.
