Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a Senior Strategic Product Manager to join the Enterprise Payments Solutions (EPS) Product Management team, which is responsible for defining payments product strategy, managing the payments product roadmap, and delivering new product value to the market. As part of the product management team, your responsibilities will include developing best practice processes based on the corporate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), managing strategic projects to develop and deliver payment software solutions to market, and coordinating key resources from cross-functional and cross-departmental teams, vendors, and clients.  

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
  • Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
  • Assists less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Experience with a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Software Product experience.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Specific knowledge of the financial industry as it relates to product delivery.
  • Experience working with payment processing products or applications, including check, card, Automated Clearing House (ACH), or real-time payments.
  • Strong project management knowledge and abilities.
  • Strong business acumen concerning the development of new technologies.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients as needed to manage Beta projects including collecting feedback and managing expectations.
  • A proven ability to work as part of a broader team, leveraging relationships to accomplish complex tasks.
