- Establish and review business and technical requirements and overall project plans to define or refine standards, ensure adherence to standards and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge throughout the development staff.
- Collaborate with developers, QA/BA, operations and management to provide technical direction in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Perform the most complex product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
- Collaborate with other engineers to propose and execute strategies, ideas, technologies and coding standards to ensure enterprise level products.
- Adequately establish yourself as a technical leader through building strong relationships based on open communication that can be recognized as a thought leader both internally and externally of your team.
- Act as lead on User Interface (UI/UX) projects related to Single Sign-Ons (SSO), Plugins, and PowerOns (stand-alone web servers/services) to provide our customers and vendors with custom functionality as well as look and feel within our online banking product.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
- Minimum 8 years of professional/educational technical experience in User Interface software development/engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of JavaScript programming experience.
- Minimum 3 years of developing responsive web apps using tools like Angular / React, TypeScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
- Technical knowledge in software development methodologies.
- Experience with analysis/design at multiple project/multiple environment level.
- Experience in providing technical guidance to other developers.
- Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- 6+ years of experience with JavaScript programming.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems.
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Lit, Kubernetes and/or Typescript.
- Experience tracing a request through the network stack.
- Experience with SSOs, Plugins, or APIs.
- Implemented OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
