Description & Requirements

Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry; is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and project experienced accounting professional to join our Contract Administration team.  This position supports multiple facets of the Accounting, Finance, and Procurement (AFP) organization, including customer contracts and billing, data analysis and validation, operational support, and system testing and implementation.  The Contract Administration team utilizes JHA product knowledge, various systems, and collaboration with other AFP teams to successfully meet timelines and achieve targets.


The Senior Corporate Business Analyst position will work alongside the Contract Administration management team and collaborate with other colleagues across the AFP organization.  This position plays a critical role in assisting AFP with managing the complexities of our contracts which will include the identification, implementation, and maintenance of a new Contract Lifecycle Management System.  It is expected this position will succeed with minimal supervision and be empowered to do the right thing, do whatever it takes, and have fun.

This position can be based to work out of any of the following Jack Henry office locations: Springfield, MO (Montclair) / Monett, MO / Allen, TX / Lenexa, KS or Remote from any US location.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with contract processing, review, and/or management.
  • Must have experience with accounting, budgeting, and/or finance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% for occasional team meetings or trainings.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in contract lifecycle management – processes and systems implementation and management (e.g. Apttus, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP).
  • Experience working in the software industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyzes data from a wide variety of sources.  Identifies problems, perceptions, and potential trends; draws conclusions and advises management in business policies and practices.
  • Manages the Enhancement Submission Process (ESP).  Works with internal and external organizations to ensure successful completion of each product’s phase.
  • Serves as corporate metric group.  Develops methods and instruments to accurately gather data, measure effectiveness, performance, and perceptions; based on measurement results, recommends resource allocations, and future improvement opportunities.
  • Executes and provides oversight of surveys for both internal and external audiences.  May design low to moderately complex surveys with assistance as necessary.  Compiles, analyzes and summarizes feedback.
  • Evaluates business processes that may cross multiple areas within the organization.  Identifies potential trends and issues and brings them to the attention of executive management.
  • Through frequent customer interaction, identifies and documents customer needs and requirements; proposes strategies to accomplish objectives.
  • Researches and resolves issues directly impacting the customer and internal organizations.  Offers solutions and ensures issues are appropriately routed for resolution or addressed by appropriate areas. 
  • Develops and executes communication plans and provides other writing and editing services, as needed.
  • Assists Customers’ Regional and National User Group Boards and members, understanding the dynamics, differences, and needs within each group.
