Jack Henry Associates (JHA) is a consistently profitable $2Billion publicly traded company servicing Financial Institution and Payments markets.  The JHA Strategic Alliances team is a sales organization responsible for developing and expanding third party sales channels for over 35 various solution areas and 200+ different products and services within JHA.  The JHA Strategic Alliances Sales Engineer is specifically responsible for driving sales of JHA Payments solutions including iPay, EPS and Ensenta through channel partners. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet or exceed outlined sales objectives, such as:  revenue objectives, proposal generation, demo delivery, along with other criteria designated by management.
    • Organize and maintain communication during sales cycle within
    • Become expert with the JHA Payments solutions to understand how they fit a partnership need.
    • Build and maintain mutually profitable relationships with digital banking solution vendors’ sales teams who are or could be reseller or referral channel partners for JHA Payments solutions.
    • Work in coordination with Marketing, Sales and Product Sales Specialists to conduct remote & live demonstrations of the JHA Payments solutions to current customers, partners & prospects and to effectively represent the solutions and JHA in conferences and tradeshows.
    • Act as a Liaison and troubleshooter between Sales and Operations on Product Roadmap, Onboarding and Support Issues.
    • Work effectively with Payment Sales Executives, Payment Operations, Legal, Risk, Accounting, Reporting and Account Management.


    • Minimum 5 years FinTech software sales and or sales engineering experience.


    • Channel sales experience selling to software companies in FinTech industry.
    • Strong organizational and reporting background.
    • Ability to work on cross functional teams.
    • Can sell complex technologies to audiences with various levels of technical knowledge.
    • Ability to sell the value proposition of features and benefits
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
    • Ability to present and address products in a virtual and live sales environment. 
    • Experience working with Salesforce or equivalent sales automation tools


    • Lead contributor to account solution definition and review of customer operations for improving business process opportunities.  Performs customer needs assessments and solutions finding sessions.
    • Understands and documents, through due diligence efforts, customer requirements, and conveys requirements to Product Management teams.
    • Effectively discusses and positions Jack Henry products and solutions by demonstrating an in-depth understanding of company products, functions, features and benefits to both business and technical users.
    • Identifies all technical issues of assigned accounts, and manages customer expectations, to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
    • Designs and coordinates product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales environment.  Provides specifications and quotes to prospective clients, and responds to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
    • Improves product specification layout and detail according to the distinguishing features of a company product.
    • Identifies product capability gaps or functionality limitations to define alternatives using partners, product enhancements, etc.
    • Conceptualizes and communicates how company products and services affect opportunities and sales exposure within the organization.
    • Participates at user groups, conferences, tradeshows, and other events as required by Sales Management and Product Marketing.
