The Symitar Product Specialist team is seeking to add a Product Solutions Consultant to the team!  As a Product Solutions Consultant, you will present solutions from the Jack Henry suite of products to prospects and existing clients as part of the sales cycle.  You will be contributing to the ongoing sales efforts of the organization and empowered to utilize all the tools and products that Jack Henry has in order to enable financial institutions to maximize their strategic goals.  You will be an integral part of understanding an FI’s current needs through building relationships and understanding their unique processes while anticipating their future needs based on strategic goals and industry trends.  You will be working with the entire sales team to recommend appropriate products to clients and actively provide feedback to other parts of the organization to keep our product set moving forward. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial services and consistently seeks ways for our client base to expand, leveraging these tools to improve the overall level of service they can provide their members.  

This position can be worked remotely but will require 70-75% travel on average to Credit Unions across the US.

OUR TEAM

The Product Specialists group current has 15-18 members that all work remotely so you should be comfortable in an online team environment. This team includes both presenters and sales engineers engaged as part of the sales cycle that work closely together to reach sales goals. The Product Solutions Consultants group includes 8-10 professional presenters from varied backgrounds that include training, implementations and hands on experience at financial institutions. All members bring a unique experience that help expand the demonstrations to our clients so that we can match their needs to products. Each member of the team is a self-starter that thrives in reaching independent goals but also recognizes that the team’s success comes from cross training, shared learning and open communication. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a financial institution or Fintech organization. 
  • Presentation experience required.
  • Required travel – up to 75% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in a credit union and credit union product knowledge.
  • Episys core solution experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 50% - Proficiently demonstrates systems to current and potential customers and answer questions as to system capabilities.
  • 20% - May be responsible for responding to Request for Proposals from prospective clients.
  • 15% - Continuously develops, suggests, and implements new ideas for improving and enhancing product demonstrations.
  • 15% - Attends conferences/trade shows.
