Acting independently, provides strategic product guidance for JH payments products, including Payments as a Service, to assist Payments business units, FI’s, FinTechs, partners and other payments touch points inside and outside of Jack Henry. 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provide high level payment strategy recommendations across JH Payments, by identifying product offering gaps and potential solutions, analyzing potential vendor fit for JH, evaluating new industry products and offerings in conjunction with business units, looking for opportunities to leverage existing products between and across business units, and making recommendations to business units on enhancements or new products for their roadmaps.
  • Determine the impact on JH payment products related to enhancements/changes from Mobile Banking Partners via understanding of their roadmaps and internal discussions.
  • Lead product and payments strategy meetings with identified FI’s, FinTechs and key partners, collecting feedback and creating action plans to address customer needs. 
  •  Lead and provide payments and product strategic guidance, information, and leadership across JH Payments.
  • Capably report the product status and evangelize the strategic vision outside the team.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in the payments industry and determine the immediate and long-term impact of those changes on JH payment products, as well as identifying revenue implications and the likely effect on sales drivers. 
  • Understand the roadmaps for all JH payments products and provide strategic guidance.
  • Represent JH and drive company and brand recognition at industry events and conferences as attendees and speakers.
  • Create external-facing white papers on key topics within the payments industry. 
  • Assist in creating marketing and sales material, and assist sales by serving as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and fostering a better understanding of Payments as a Service and industry trends.  
  •  Identify and analyze potential new partners and FinTech’s.
  • May perform other duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Presentation Experience.
  • Experience communicating across different business units including senior leadership and executives.
  • Payments Strategy experience.
