Jack Henry is seeking a .NET/Web UI Software Engineer (Mid-Level ) who will be working in a Windows software development environment using .net, C#, Angular, and client/server application development. This role will participate in the technical design and implementation of new products and enhancements and would participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.  It will also be responsible for leading and setting standards on UI design and development.  This position can be worked remotely from the United States or in our Springfield MO office.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution.  
  • Performs system analysis and programming activities that may require research. 
  • Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.  
  • Provides reasonable task and project effort estimates. 
  • Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production. 
  • Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices. 
  • Creates required technical documentation. 
  • Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. 
  • Collaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. 
  • Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects. 
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in software development or any programming language.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HTML, JavaScript, .Net, C#, and Angular 10+ Web Technologies. 
  • Experience in the design of client/server applications.
  • Experience in Web UI Application development experience.

What would be nice for you to have:     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or software engineering preferred OR equivalent work experience.
  • Banking and/or accounting software knowledge and experience.
  • Experience using, TFS, VSTS, Git, Visual Studio, and VS Code.
  • Ability to write code using Typescript, Strong knowledge of Angular Components, Directives, Services, and Routing.
