Jack Henry is seeking a Manager of Marketing Strategic Planning and Operations.  As a vital member of the Marketing Leadership team, this role is responsible for leading the creation of the marketing strategic planning and operational management of that plan across the Marketing organization.   We are seeking an innovative, resourceful, with a unique blend of strategy and process orientation.  Someone with the experience and desire to help guide the many innovations going on with how Marketing plans, manages the plans and measures success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Marketing or operations role. 
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Previous experience with managing projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of technical, financial, and banking industry and competitive market environment.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and processes.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Marketing automation experience; HubSpot preferred.
  • Marketing project workflow automation experience; Workfront preferred.
  • Agile marketing methodology experience a plus.
  • Budget management experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work as part of the Marketing leadership team.
  • Identify annual marketing priorities and establish/guide the objectives, strategic approach, deliverables, and metrics for achieving marketing goals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight, as well as hands-on support, for all marketing initiatives within the scope of work of your marketing team.
  • Monitor resource availability and allocation across marketing to ensure efficient accomplishment of annual objectives and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to ensure Marketing plans are timely, strategic, and executed as expected.
  • Manage annual Marketing risk assessment.
  • Assist with defining key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of procedures documentation related to departmental efficiency and processes.
  • Participate in annual marketing budgeting process by contributing recommendations for investment to improve marketing.
  • Manage monthly forecasting for marketing team ensuring that expenses are forecast and allocated appropriately and accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing leadership to drive to ensure that strategies, plans, and budgets are aligned to expectations
  • Represent Marketing on the Customer Experience working team
  • Work with Internal Lines of Business to size and scope requested projects and collaborate with Corporate Communications to fulfill those needs.  
  • Recruit, Hire, Develop and Manage high-performing project managers.
  • Assess project management technology needs and work with outside vendors to fulfill those needs on behalf of all Marketing.
