Description & Requirements

Our Inside Sales Department is seeking a driven and motivated sales professional to join the team.  The selected individual will be responsible for generating revenue within a financial software company by selling solutions and services to accounts in a defined territory. Responsibility is usually limited to add-on sales within existing accounts or smaller new accounts. The common method of customer interaction is over the phone; however, the position also entails responding to E-mail inquiries and orders. The position is usually responsible for non-complex sales engagements.

The Inside Sales Representative affords the opportunity to work remotely.   In addition to your own prospecting efforts, significant leads are provided for you to work through internal marketing, joint calling with other divisional Sales personnel, strategic partnerships and trade show opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the financial or insurance industry.
  • Prior sales experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in inside sales, preferably to banks and credit unions and/or the financial industry with a successful quota-driven sales track record.
  • A demonstrated proficiency in marketing and cold call lead and sales generation.
  • Comfortable in speaking with high-level decision makers, preferably in the financial institution space.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and close opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with contact management software, MS Office and other tools such as WebEx.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • 60% - Actively prospect and sell to existing customer base.
  • 20% - Account development including contact research, qualification, engagement and discovery.
  • 20% - Maintain accurate contact management records of all activity in CRM system.
