You will need to be able to multi-task and have strong customer-service oriented skills, independently managing and prioritizing the multiple projects to which you will be assigned.  You must be self-motivated in learning new things and be able to articulate and share your knowledge with team members as well as work effectively individually or in team settings with minimum supervision. The position will support performing all phases of complex integrated audit engagements with a primary focus on IT process and controls.

This position can be based out of any Jack Henry office location or remote from any US location.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.
  • Must have a minimum 18 months of IT audit experience in internal audit or public accounting, or 3 years within IT operations or security.
  • Experience with COBIT or NIST Guidance.
  • Must have experience with audit writing or reporting.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% for meetings with internal and external leaders, priority projects, networking, and training.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience within financial services, e-commerce, payment systems or tech industry.
  • A relevant professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CFE, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CIA, PMP, CITP, or CPA).
  • IT risk assessment, vulnerability assessment or penetration testing experience.
  • Strong understanding and experience with IT security techniques.
  • Understanding and experience with cloud providers and services.
  • Experience consulting on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with data analytics techniques.
  • Internal control maturity modeling and gap analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of GRC systems including standard functions and reporting
  • Understanding of blockchain.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Effectively cooperate and interact within an interactive project team
  • Complete worksteps within complex, risk-based internal audit engagements.
  • Interact respectfully and effectively with various personnel across the organization to understand processes, gather information, and test processes and controls.
  • Perform root cause analysis to understand gaps and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Monitor status of management action plans.
  • Research and recommend process, security, operations, or compliance enhancements.
  • Coordinate tasks with internal and external assurance providers and risk assessors.
  • Consult on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in department quality assurance and continuous improvement program.
  • Prepare written reports that clearly and concisely communicate observations, risks, recommendations, and management action plans.
