Jack Henry & Associates is currently looking for an advanced Sales Engineer to join our Gladiator team.  Our Sales Engineer serves as the primary product resource to support our direct sales group. This role is responsible for acting as the product expert, actively driving and managing the RFP stage of the sales process and working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor or demo presenter for their product responsibility.

This position can be worked remotely throughout the U.S.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Gathers customer requirements through due diligence efforts and develops proposals.
  • Subject matter expert on Security and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC).
  • Participates at user groups, conferences, tradeshows, and other events as needed.
  • Performs customer needs assessments and solutions finding sessions.
  • Designs and coordinates product presentations based on the necessities and competitive sales environment.  Responds to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of four years of sales engineer experience.
  • Minimum of three years of Security and Governance, Risk Management, Compliance or Business Continuity Planning experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory audit practices of financial industry.
  • 25% travel required.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with experience working on moderately complex and diverse projects.  Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 
  • Expert knowledge and good understanding of banking and industry business issues.
  • Proven success presenting technology as business solution and selling in complicated sales surroundings with both technical and business buyers.
  • Keen ability to understand and document customer requirements.  Strong selling and sales aptitude with ability to manage complex customer interactions.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.  Able to make effective presentations in time-constrained situations.
