Under close supervision, analyzes past and present financial data of organization and applies financial principles to estimate future revenues and expenditures. Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
To be successful in this role, a candidate must possess strong Excel skills.

This position will be full-time hours (40 hours per week) and will be worked out of Jack Henry's Springfield, MO or Monett, MO office location(s). This position pays $22.00/hour and has a start date of June 5, 2023. The ten-week program will conclude on August 11, 2023.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
  • Prepares special studies, analyses, and recommendations for budgets, business forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, and statistical reports.
  • Serves as point of contact with operational personnel to document business processes.
  • Collaborates with FinOps analysis. 
  • Help increase the speed, efficiency, automation, and digitization of our Finance operations and processes to support the company's business decisions and driver enterprise value.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives to improve standard reporting, forecasting accuracy, data visualization, analytics, and insights provided to business leadership.
  • Help prepare and deliver executive level briefings on financial performance, provide variance analysis to forecast and budget, help businesses meet financial targets, deliver results, as well as work to report progress on financial risks and opportunities.
What you’ll need to have:
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • An identified graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024.
  • Be able to work 40 hours per week throughout the ten-week program with minimum absences throughout the ten-week program.
  • Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period without any sponsorship.
