Under general supervision, the Event Production Specialist will work with multiple partners in the pre-production, planning and execution of shows and presentations that support the work of Jack Henry. This individual will support the Event Production team and assist with cross-functional tasks within the planning process, with a focus on logistics, the audio/video and technical aspects of event support. 

This position will be based out of our Springfield, MO or Monett, MO offices. 

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Creating and managing the production calendar and schedules planning meetings to ensure clients’ needs are exceeded. 
  • Assemble, operate, and maintain the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound.  
  • Installation and maintenance of all the video equipment at company events. This can include switchers, tape machines, monitors, and other equipment. 
  • Event production services, Web Development for use on virtual events; Cloud computing using Microsoft Azure; Plan and operate livestreams using Wirecast and OBS. 
  • Engaging with vendors and arranging security.  
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.  
What you’ll need to have:
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience with audio visual technologies. 
  • Minimum of 25% travel required for events. 
  • Experience working in a typical office setting with environmentally controlled conditions, or in a warehouse (inventory) environment. 
  • Event set up may require lifting up to 50lbs, bending, squatting and kneeling so the ability to complete these tasks as needed is required. 
  • Possess the ability to problem solve and act quickly under pressure.

What would be nice for you to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Experience working with the teams to enhance the registration software experience for our attendees by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.  
  • Experience processing payments and invoices.  
  • Experience post-event reporting.
