Description & Requirements

Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry; is hiring a Contract Processing Accounting Manager to join our growing team within the Customer Contract and Relationship Management department.  The Contract Processing team ensures accurate recognition of customer contract billing information and accurately produces invoicing on a monthly basis. This position will manage the activities of staff responsible for contract entry for variable/transactional invoicing.

This position will manage several staff in areas of system processing mainly, as well as technical accounting and audit compliance. The position will be demanding and requires a strong ability to build relationships along with a continuous improvement mindset. 

This position can be based to work out of any of the following Jack Henry office locations: Allen, TX Springfield, MO (Montclair) or Monett, MO.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts receivable, contract entry or billing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • CPA.

Essential Functions

  • Manages the development, implementation and maintenance all accounting systems, including but not limited to: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures.
  • Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
  • Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
  • Participates in annual audits and special projects.
  • May work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
  • Ensures area of responsibility is in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
  • May assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
