Description & Requirements

Jack Henry’s Compliance Services team is seeking a compliance analyst to join a dynamic group! This close-knit team of seven individuals provides audit support, compliance monitoring, and oversight for our internal IT operations under the auspices of the office of the Chief Information Officer. Main responsibilities would include assisting with internal and external assessments including control mapping and process/procedure documentation with a heavy emphasis on FFIEC, PCI, SOC, and SOX. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for detail, a logical mind, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.


This position can be based to work out of Springfield or Monett, MO; Allen, TX; any other Jack Henry office; or remote from any US location.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in an audit or compliance role.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% for audit meetings.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies such as networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS\IDS, network analyzers, data loss prevention, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies, cloud services, mobile devices, etc.
  • Direct experience with implementation and management of security frameworks such as: ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53.
  • Certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISM), or GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP).


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Researches and tests compliance issues for all JHA applications related to federal regulations, state statutes, industry standards and best practices, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Evaluates internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation of policies and procedures, for the company and at the customer level, in order to adhere to regulations.
  • Analyzes customer level compliance with various rules, regulations, standards and best practices. 
  • Monitors regulatory changes and distributes necessary information to implement changes to various departments and internal policies.
  • Develops and maintains an organized, methodical documentation system for communicating, implementing, and managing new and existing regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in the development of contracts and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Performs compliance reviews of various supported applications.
  • May assist customers in preparing for examiner and auditor on-site visits. 
  • May perform day to day compliance activities which might include periodic screening of clients, investigations, documentation, and reporting.
