We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our iTalk product group. This team of 30 works on our cutting-edge phone-based banking solutions. The ideal candidate is skilled in critical and analytical thinking, a strong communicator, and a problem solver. You’d be the strong link between our customers, developers, and the operations team. This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location. Travel up to 5% for occasional team meetings or conferences is required. The target salary range for this position is between $70-95k depending on skill level and geographical location.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • May perform application, system and regression tests.
  • Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
  • Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
  • Participates in Agile Ceremonies   
  • Work through requirements, creates documentation, present to development teams, and presents it back to stakeholders
  • Answer questions from QA, development, and operations as subject matter expert.
  • Performs application and system testing.  Logs any defects found in Azure
  • Responds to Idealab submissions
  • Involved in Change Control Board.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • May perform other duties as assigned. 
What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience working with financial products and services OR working within the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with customer facing technology.
  • Experience gathering requirements/information from customers/stakeholders and using those to provide/recommend a solution.
  • Experience testing applications/systems.
What would be nice for you to have:                                                                

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Business Analyst experience.
  • DevOps experience.
  • Adobe XD experience.
