Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and attentive Licensed Aviation Maintenance Technician. This position will offer an opportunity to be a part of a growing and established Travel Department that currently operates a fleet of Embraer Phenom 300 Aircraft under ISBAO Certification and guidelines.  With a fully developed Safety Management System (SMS), FOQA Program, in-house maintenance, line service and crew scheduling, the Department has seen continued growth and is eager to find a candidate willing to participate and enhance this dynamic.

This position will be based to work out of Monett, MO Regional Airport.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 1,400 hours of formal training or 18 months of experience in Aviation Maintenance. 
  • Must have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, depending on the needs of the department.  This position does participate in an on-call rotation pertaining to weekends.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% to attend trainings (twice every 24 months - up to 2 weeks in length) and assist with resolving unexpected airplane maintenance issues. 
  • In order to qualify for this position, candidates must live within an hour of commuting distance from Monett, MO Regional Airport or be willing to relocate. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance.
  • Valid Class B drivers’ license.
  • Inspection authorization certificate. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures all maintenance operations are conducted safely.
  • Responsible for determining airworthiness and safety of the aircraft for each flight.
  • Maintains the company’s aircraft in accordance with the manufacturer’s continuing airworthiness instructions, federal aviation regulations, company directives and the highest standards of airworthiness and appearance.
  • Responsible for the strict adherence to the inspection system employed for assigned aircraft.
  • Complies with the manufacturers’ technical data, FAR, and other applicable safety rules.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and servicing aircraft including engines, engine systems, and airframe components to ensure aircraft remains in safe operating condition.
  • Tests, adjusts, and replaces parts such as tires, wiring, and instruments using various test equipment, technical diagrams, maintenance manuals, and mechanics’ tools.
  • Performs the maintenance duties including preflight, post flight, departure, recovery, interval inspections and aircraft repairs.
  • Completes airworthiness directives issues by the FAA and mandatory service bulletins issued by the manufacturer.
  • Ships, receives, and inspects aircraft parts.
  • Maintains inventory of consumables (such as grease, gaskets, and filters).
  • Operates ground support equipment.
  • Performs logbook research; maintains and completes accurate and comprehensive logbook entries.
  • Keeps current in all categories and class of certifications and maintain good standing, including FAA Mechanic certificate and Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
