Jack Henry's Customer Education Team is seeking an Advanced Application Trainer to join our team. This team develops and delivers live training for all three JH Banking Core Platforms, SilverLake, CIF 20/20, and Core Director as well as jhaEnterprise Workflow and Teller Applications. The ideal candidate will be able to explain how to use the system to it's full capacity from the banker's perspective.  Most training will be delivered virtually, however, there will be some travel required. This trainer needs to be a self-starter that will learn on their own as well as work with other team members and departments. This position will be based out of the Monett or Springfield MO area.  There will be travel involved with this position.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designs and delivers software and service training courses or workshops. Creates, designs, and customizes training materials and procedures for each customer situation, and may consult with the customer for appropriate customization.
  • May arrange the training environment (scheduling of rooms and computers for use, location and length of training, , attendee list, etc).
  • Provides customer follow-up on any questions asked during training that required post-training research. Ensures all questions are answered timely and thoroughly.
  • Seeks increased knowledge of features and functions of products and services. Increases knowledge of current training techniques and practices. Keeps current on product changes and upgrades.
  • Supports and trains less experienced peers.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working in a financial institution that involved all aspects of branch operations. 
  • Previous banking experience
  • Must have previous professional presentation or teaching experience.

What would be nice for you to have: 

  • SilverLake, CIF 20/20, or Core Director experience.
  • Training Certifications.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree.
