Symitar is currently looking for an Applications Analyst to join our Symitar PowerFrame Implementation and Support team. You will also be responsible for implementing/installing and supporting Symitar PowerFrame. This product extends the Symitar platform by giving our clients the ability to create a user experience that is customizable to their business needs. You will be troubleshooting enhancements and fixes. Under moderate supervision, you will work directly with Financial Institutions, and perform extensive troubleshooting of new products and services under the Symitar PowerFrame.

Candidate must possess leadership qualities, be extremely organized and self-motivated, and enjoy working in a learning environment. Being flexible and adaptable are critical to success.

This position can be worked remotely throughout the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provides technical assistance to clients. Analyzes the problem as described by the client and determines the best course of action. Provides support to clients/users if product issues are encountered. 
  • Includes all appropriate departments to facilitate a successful resolution to any client issue.
  • Prepares the client for the installation, takes the customer through the installation process, and provides training or support to the customer post-installation.
  • Provides software support/guidance by answering questions on functions, features and usage of software products. 
  • Maintains effective communication with client throughout entire project/case.
  • Reports design, reliability and/or enhancement requests or bugs.
  • May prepare test environment and test new enhancements or other internal quality testing.
  • Maintains familiarity with company products by attending training classes, observing experienced support personnel, reading software documentation, and participating in online training programs.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with software applications analysis, software implementation, business analysis experience and/or financial institution experience.
  • Must be able to work 7am - 4pm PST or 8am - 5pm PST.

  • Experience with Symitar core database and functions.
  • Experience providing troubleshooting connectivity to JHA products.
  • Previous credit union experience.
  • Able to train customers on use of software applications.
  • Able to communicate with customers and other departments effectively.
  • Able to perform troubleshooting and involve appropriate resources to resolve.
  • Able to successfully manage a high volume of cases.
