Jack Henry & Associates is actively seeking an Advisory Technical Product Manager to work with our Credit Card Processing Product team. In this role, you will perform as an individual contributor that is a key leader for several clients both internally and externally. This role will develop and maintain a working relationship with PSCU and Fiserv, while working with the internal Full-service credit team including: implementations, CRMs, and other groups.

As an Advisory Product Manager, you will manage the strategy, planning, development and operations of our Credit Card Processing product. This includes ensuring the product delivers on the strategic objectives of the organization and also meets short term performance targets set by the business. Creating, dreaming, enhancing new product concepts or enhancements, analyzing product performance metrics and ensuring efficient and cost-effective product delivery are all within the realm of the CPS Product Management team.

This individual should be a hard-working, results oriented contributor that excels at prioritization of several tasks and has a strong ability to communicate effectively across a variety of clients. This person should be a strategic, data-driven professional who excels at organization, has excellent judgment, and critical-thinking abilities. They should be a true leader among others with a results-oriented personality that can innately and effectively influence others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with Credit Card Processing.
  • Must have Product Management or Business Analyst experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Processor level experience with PSCU or similar card processing provider.
  • Experience working with multiple financial institutions directly and indirectly.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize different job functions.
  • Vendor Management experience (such as: VISA, Mastercard, PSCU, FISERV, Ondot, etc.)
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to both internal and external audience. Including to large audiences and senior leadership.
  • Develop and communicate the roadmap.
  • Work with system architects to understand architectural work.
  • Manage the program feature backlog.
  • Develop feature acceptance criteria.
  • Define Releases and Program Increments.
  • Participate in release management and solution validation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Designs, modifies and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release.
  • Serves as the central resource with design, process, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and release.
  • Tracks statistics of product adoption by customer base and translates feedback into enhancement recommendations.
  • Ensures a smooth turnover to the implementation or support organizations that includes planning, training and hand off.
  • Establishes and interacts with user community (e.g., focus groups, crowdsourcing, customer fact finding, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains the product vision/roadmap.
  • Participates in the rollout of marketing plans/campaigns.
  • Creates alpha and beta program definition and coordinates execution.
  • Creates standard demonstrations (and occasional participation in customer demonstrations).
  • Provides demonstration training to Sales.
  • Promotes investigation and application of new technologies and industry trends to product management activities.
  • Ensures that products meet specifications and quality goals.
  • May assist less experienced peers.  May act as a team lead.
